Pi side table is the first furniture piece of the Alphabet collection.
Elly Kyriaki Papapostolou draws her inspiration from the Greek Alphabet, the shapes and forms of the large sized Greek lettering that she recalls from her childhood years. The fond memory of the very first glimpse of the letters and the desire to be surrounded by them, drove her to create contemporary design pieces with a twist and a strong sculptural quality.
Pi side table is a contemporary design version of the much celebrated symbol, the Greek letter π which denotes the irrational number Pi=3.14, one of the most widely used constants throughout mathematics.
